Terms of Use
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Welcome to Founders Circle CT. By using this site, joining our interest list, or attending a meetup, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend.
What Founders Circle CT is
Founders Circle CT is an independent, informal local community for founders and builders. Meetups are casual, and the first one is free. Taking part does not create any employment, partnership, investment, or other business relationship with the organizer or other members.
Joining the interest list
Joining the interest list tells us you would like to hear about meetups. It does not guarantee a spot at any event. We will share details such as date and location with people on the list as plans firm up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Community expectations
This is meant to be a welcoming, low-pressure space. By taking part, you agree to:
- Treat other people with respect.
- Not harass, discriminate against, or threaten anyone.
- Not use the community mainly to hard-sell, spam, or recruit members against their wishes.
- Follow any reasonable requests from the organizer at an event.
We may remove anyone from an event or the community for behavior that makes others uncomfortable or unsafe.
No professional advice
Anything shared on this site or at meetups is for general information and conversation only. It is not legal, financial, investment, or professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
No guarantees
The site and the meetups are provided “as is.” We do not promise any particular result, introduction, connection, or outcome from joining the list or attending an event.
Attending events
You take part in meetups at your own risk and are responsible for your own conduct and belongings. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Founders Circle CT and its organizer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or attendance at an event.
Your content
What you share with us (for example, in the interest form) remains yours. You give us permission to use it for the purpose of organizing and running the community, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The Founders Circle CT name, the site design, and its content belong to the organizer. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.
Third-party services
We rely on services like Google Forms and Vercel, and we link to outside sites. We are not responsible for those services or sites, which have their own terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA.
