Privacy Policy

Founders Circle CT (“we”, “us”) is an independent local community organized by Arun Thachi. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or join our interest list, and how we use it. We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

Interest list. Our interest list is a Google Form. When you fill it out, you may share your name, email, town, LinkedIn profile, what you are building, how you would describe yourself, your availability, how you would like to help, and any optional comments. This information is collected and stored by Google on our behalf and is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Analytics. If analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site (for example, pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and page performance). This may set cookies. The site ships with no analytics or tracking unless we turn it on.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate and secure the site.

How we use your information

• To contact you about the first meetup and future Founders Circle CT events.
• To plan meetups and understand who is interested.
• To respond to questions you send us.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the community (such as Google for the form and Vercel for hosting), or where we are legally required to.

Cookies

The site itself does not set marketing cookies. If analytics is enabled, Google’s services may set cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we have, update it, or delete it at any time, and you can unsubscribe from updates whenever you like. Just email hello@founderscirclect.com.

Data retention

We keep interest-list information while the community is active, or until you ask us to remove it.

Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Links to other sites

We link to third-party sites such as Google Forms and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
